Well I have been very busy as of late so I do apologise to those of you who have faved and I have failed to get back to. It will happen at some stage I promise.
So where have I been well that is the question. I spent a few days lawn mowing and camping on my block down near Merredin and in the last few days I have been to a little station called Landor out in the middle of nowhere for some bush races and drinking.
To say it is in the middle of nowhere is a lie. It is close to where I use to work at Burringurrah but it is about 250km from the nearest town on a long dirt road. I have been there for 4 days and it has been an interesting experience. Lots of memories good and bad, adventures (I blew 2 tyres while out there and with only two spares I had a slow 200km drive on a dirt road with no spares praying that each rock I hit wouldn’t be the last for me. I would have been stuck out there still if one more tyre had blown.) and of course the main thing was drinking.
Well I brought my guitar along and entertained many around the campfire on the Saturday night. I almost upstaged the Ball going on. There were people from all over the place coming and sitting by the campfire and singing. A great experience to have and on the Sunday I climbed Mount Augustus (the biggest rock in the world) again for the 3rd time.
So in the past week I would say I have travelled at least 2000km and I have atleast another 1000kms to go in the next few days.
So that is an update on my life and I will try to get some photo’s up soon but the art is in an exploration phase at the moment.
